Beginner's Equipment Guide to Manga Drawing

So you've decided to give it a go to enter the world of Manga and Manga Drawing. This is a beginners guide to every equipment needed to start drawing manga right away!

  1. First thing first of course, you will need some paper (no surprises there) but not those A4 Reflex printing paper. I will suggest you buy a Visual Diary such as the one below because it has good quality, it is thick (which ensures that you did not trace the manga/anime) and of course you do not need to buy a folder to put your work in as it is a binder book already (so that you won't loose your hard work). But this is completely up to you as the price of an A4 Visual Diary may be a bit expensive.

   2. The next most important piece of equipment is the Pencil/Mechanical Pencil with the 2B lead. It is not essential but it is good to have a set of pencils ranging from H~6B for better shading.

  3. A good eraser is vital to drawing as some cheap rubbers may smudge or even wear away paper damaging the look of your art. Therefor i suggest you through away those erasers which keep on smudge on paper and buy a good quality one such as: Faber-Castell,Mitsubishi Boxy (recommended) and more.

For the time being as Beginners you're good to go! What's needed now is motivation, time, patience, and practice!
